Further Proof that I'm a Geek...

Here's a conversation I had at the registers the other day:

Me: "Your total is $39.93. Hey that's a palindrome!

Customer gives me a Look.

Me: "But with...numbers?"

Customer still silent.

Me: sigh "umm...nevermind."

I guess that wasn't so much a conversation as it was a monologue. Or possibly a soliloquy. What's the difference?
